Reebok will soon bring a new basketball performance sneaker into the market with the introduction of the Engine A, shown here.
Reebok Basketball’s VP, Shaquille O’Neal, unveiled the upcoming Engine A on his social media channels prior to the sneaker marking its on-court debut at the Chicago Sky and Indiana Fever by Angel Reese later tonight. Per Reebok, this silhouette has been in development since 2022 and is also the brand’s first new performance hoops shoe since the early 2010s.
The Reebok Engine A is equipped with an “exoskeleton” design on the upper, paired with its returning Energy Return System (ERS) tech used on the midsole. The outsole features high-abrasion rubber for optimal grip on the court.
Despite the unveiling today, Reebok confirmed that the Engine A won’t be released until sometime in Spring 2025. Check back soon for official launch updates in the coming months.
